Petrol, diesel prices reduced

New Delhi, Dec 15 (IBNS) Giving relief to consumers, petrol and diesel prices have been reduced on Tuesday.

Petrol price was reduced by  50 paise per litre,  diesel rates were lowered by 46 paise per litre.

"Decrease in Retail Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 0.50 /litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Petrol in Delhi will become Rs. 59.98/litre," the Indian Oil Corporation said in a statement.

"Decrease in Retail Selling Price of Diesel (Retail) by Rs. 0.46/litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Diesel in Delhi will become Rs. 46.09/litre," it said.

New prices will come to effect from  midnight tonight.
