Petrol, diesel prices reduced

New Delhi, Jan 16 (IBNS): Petrol and diesel prices were reduced on Friday, reports said.

Petrol price was slashed by Rs.2.42 a litre and diesel price was reduced by Rs.2.25 per litre.

The government earlier in the day raised excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs. 2 per litre.
