Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. on Friday reported a strong start to FY2026, registering a 75 per cent year-on-year growth in domestic sales for April.

The company recorded total sales of 5,388 units during the month, comprising 3,203 units in the domestic market and 2,185 units in exports, underlining its steady growth momentum and strengthening presence in the Indian automotive market.

Customer interest remained robust across Nissan’s expanding product portfolio, supported by the positive response to the all-new Nissan GRAVITE.

Since its launch, the GRAVITE has contributed meaningfully to the company’s performance, appealing to customers with its seven-seat modularity, comfort and everyday usability. Meanwhile, the new Nissan Magnite continues to serve as a key growth driver, reinforcing Nissan’s position in the competitive compact SUV segment.

Commenting on the performance, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said the company was encouraged by the strong start to the financial year.

“The positive response to the all-new Nissan GRAVITE reaffirms our strategy of offering products aligned with evolving consumer expectations, alongside the continued success of the Nissan Magnite. This momentum strengthens our confidence as we prepare to introduce new products and expand our network footprint across the country during the year,” he said.
