Mercedes-Benz renews commitment to India with further expansion of its Mercedes-Benz R&D India (MBRDI) facilities in Bangalore and Pune

Bangalore, Apr 25 (IBNS): Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) on Monday inaugurated a third facility at Whitefield, Bangalore. Spread across an area of 119,227sqft.with capacity of 900 seating, it is located close to the head office of MBRDI, also in Whitefield.

The satellite office in Pune at Hinjewadi expanded its capacity by 23,318 sqft. adding another 203 seats for expansion.

Thomas Merker, Vice President Body& Safety, Mercedes-Benz Cars Development and acting Chairman MBRDI said: “The digital transformation of our company is in full swing and is affecting our entire value chain. Our India center through its talented workforce provides the necessary gilt edge raising the digital quotient of the company. MBRDI supports multiple regional hubs of Daimler in keeping the product on computer for as long as possible.”
