Kolkata: Bajaj Electricals announces the launch of new sub-brand '.nxt'

Kolkata, September 4 (IBNS): Bajaj Electricals announced the launch of its new range of LED luminaries, solar power system and digital ceiling system under the sub-brand '.nxt' in Kolkata, on Thursday.

The company said that this new range of technologically advanced and efficient range of luminaries were aimed for applications in IT/ITES, modern work spaces, pharmaceuticals, retails, industrial and smart city lightning.

“We have been an undisputed leader in outdoor lightning and have a strong legacy in offering lighting solution for modern offices, industries and retail stores,” said R Sundararajan, Executive President and Country Head - Luminaries segment of Bajaj Electricals Ltd and Director of Hind Lamps Ltd.

“The lightning division of Bajaj  Electricals expects strong growth momentum with its new range of products and lightning systems that cover not just commercial and residential lightning but also street lightning systems," he added.

Bajaj Electricals Limited ended FY 2015-16 with total revenue of close to Rs. 1100 crore, the company said

He said, ”West Bengal has always been a high potential market for us and we will continue to expand our network here and introduce new age and world class products. We are also participating in the government’s ambitious smart cities projects."

According to the company, with the increasing popularity of energy efficient smart buildings, Bajaj Electricals Ltd has introduced Digital Ceiling Solutions by bringing a common digital platform for improving the automated systems and services.

The company said that the solar power system is another key thrust area and it focuses on solar street lights, which are manufactured using superior quality material and latest technique.

The Executive President said, “These products, which include Roof Top Solar Bank, Solar Lanterns and Solar appliances among others, are easy to install, have a longer service life and have high performance."

Leading architects, consultants, corporate, members of manufacturing industries and government officials also attended the event.
