Mumbai, June 27 (IBNS) Kellogg’s Chocos, breakfast cereal brand for children in India, has introduces ‘ragi’ in a newer avatar to the table.

The new Kellogg’s Ragi Chocos is made with Ragi and has the same yummy chocolaty taste of Kellogg’s Chocos, making this new breakfast offering the perfect double role of taste and nourishment.

Mothers usually associate ‘ragi’ as the first solid food given to their children and trust ‘ragi’ for its rich nutrient value. However, the inherent taste and visually unappealing nature of ragi restrict mothers from including the grain as part of their child’s daily diet.

The great taste that makes Kellogg’s Chocos a favourite, would provide mothers the opportunity to bring in the goodness of ragi to their children’s breakfasts. Kellogg’s Ragi Chocos is high in essential nutrients like protein and calcium. Protein helps in growth & maintenance of the body and calcium helps in maintenance of normal bones. These nutrients help fuel your child’s growing body. Besides, the yummy chocolatey taste makes for an ideal breakfast option for children.

Sangeeta Pendurkar, Managing Director, Kellogg India added, “Mothers are constantly trying to balance taste and nourishment for their children to the extent of hiding nourishing elements creatively inside their children’s favorite foods. Kellogg’s Ragi Chocos is a great answer to this. ‘Ragi’ is well-known as traditional millet that has been given to children by mothers in different formats. Kellogg’s Ragi Chocos is high in protein high and calcium, in addition to being low in fat, high in fibre and fortified with 11 essential vitamins and minerals. Kellogg’s Ragi Chocos, is playing the double role of combining the much-loved great chocolaty taste of Chocos, with the goodness of Ragi”
