Indian markets close positive on Friday
Mumbai, Sep 2 (IBNS): Indian benchmark indices ended Friday on a positive note with Sensex up 108.63 points at 28532.11 and Nifty up 35 points at 8809.65, largely boosted by banks, auto and telecom stocks, according to media reports.
On Friday, gold gained 20 rupees to Rs 30,970 rupees per 10 grams at Delhi's bullion market on mild buying by jewelers, media reported.
Key stocks that gained on Friday were Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel, Maruti, Sun Pharma and M&M, while the major losers were Coal India, Reliance, HUL, Infosys and Power Grid.
