Indian Market: Sensex moves up at 246.47 pts

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 246.47 pts at 54,767.62 following gains in Realty, Metal, Bankex and Auto stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose 62.05 pts at 16,340.55.

The sensex registered days high and low at 54,817.52 and 54,232.82 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 16,359.50 and 16,187.05 respectively.
