Mumbai, Aug 13 (IBNS): The Indian market recovered slightly at the time of closure with the Sensex gaining 37 points on Thursday.

The Sensex closed 37.27 points above at 27549.53 points.

The Nifty stood at 8355.85 points, up by 6.40 points.
