ICICI Bank organises 10 blood donation camps across Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali

Chandigarh, July 1 (IBNS): ICICI Bank Ltd, a private sector bank, organised a month-long blood donation initiative with ten camps in the tri-city comprising Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.

The camps were held in mobile vans outside ICICI Bank branches located at Sector 9, Sector 17, Sector 35, Sector 8 and Sector 34 in Chandigarh, Sector 11 and Sector 25 in Panchkula, and Phase 7 and Phase 10 in Mohali and at Manimajra.

More than 1000 volunteers participated in this noble initiative. The Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh provided the medical assistance for the camps. The event aimed to raise awareness, around the need for safe blood in the city.

ICICI Bank has 4,450 branches and 13,766 ATMs spread across the country at March 31, 2016. It has more than 200 branches and over 400 ATMs in Punjab.
