Hyundai Motor India celebrates over 'Five Million Fans' on FB

Mumbai, Dec 31 (IBNS): Car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on December 27 achieved the landmark of crossing five million fans on the popular social networking site, Facebook.

The official page of Hyundai India was launched in year 2011 to directly engage with Indian customers, has managed to surpass this milestone within 3 years.

To celebrate the Hyundai Facebook page milestone on becoming the first auto brand to achieve 5 million fans, Hyundai India has announced an initiative on its official Facebook page which allows fans to meet Bollywood Superstar and Hyundai Brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan.

The application allows 5 million Hyundai fans on Facebook to give a virtual Hi-5 to SRK by uploading a Hi-5 Selfie on the tab.

The top five fans with the leading conversations around it will get an opportunity to meet SRK at Hyundai’s next television commercial shoot.

Delighted and enthused by the response, Rakesh Srivastava- Sr. VP- Sales & Marketing HMIL commented, “We at Hyundai take pride in being the fastest achievers of many milestones in the Indian car market. Hyundai is the fastest car manufacturer to roll out the 5 millionth car in the shortest timeframe. The growth rate of Hyundai India official Facebook page has almost doubled in the past few months, while the page score, which measures the quality of fan engagements, has been the highest in the digital space of any automobile manufacturer.

Hyundai India has strong presence in the digital world through a range of social media marketing platforms such as Twitter, You Tube, Pinterest, Linkedin, Instagram and through blogs achieving milestones on every platform.
