GreenField Software to embed Intel DCM: Energy Director into GFS Crane DCIM Software
New Delhi, July 29 (IBNS): Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software provider, GreenField Software, has embedded Intel DCM: Energy Director into its comprehensive DCIM suite GFS Crane.
GFS Crane is an ERP for Data Centers, allocating and optimizing key resources – power, space, cooling and networks.
The software from India-based GreenField Software helps data centers control capital costs, reduce operating expenses, and mitigate the risks of data center failures.
The integration of Intel DCM: Energy Director will strengthen IT monitoring and reporting capabilities of GFS Crane Power Management.
Customers looking for robust Data Center energy efficiency solution from their servers can now achieve this through GFS Crane without investing in power meters and temperature probes.
Commenting on this technology addition to GFS Crane, Shekhar Dasgupta, Founder and Director, GreenField Software said that, “Integration with Intel DCM Energy Director will not only enhance GFS Crane Power Management capabilities, but would also bring down the total cost of ownership of GFS Crane DCIM software.”
“We are delighted to be included with the GreenField Software. Intel's innovations in data center solutions can benefit GFS Crane DCIM customers , particularly in countries like India where power availability and costs are a serious business risk for data centers", said Jeff Klaus, General Manager – Data Center Solutions, Intel Corp.
GreenField Software’s collaboration with Intel was driven by the critical industry need to ensure predictable uptime and to reduce energy costs in Data Centers.
