Gopaljee Ananda increases milk price
New Delhi, May 13 (IBNS): Dairy products brand Gopaljee Dairy Foods Pvt. Ltd., under the RSD Group, on Tuesday said it will increase the milk prices of its Gopaljee Ananda and G+ brands by Rs 2 per liter in Delhi, NCR, UP and Haryana from May 14 morning.
According to the officials, the move was due to increase in procurement cost (including cattle feed, labor cost, etc.).
The company is compelled to raise the retail prices because of the ongoing rise in the prices of raw milk in the last few months coupled with the need to ensure availability of milk in the market, the officials noted.
