Global crude oil price of Indian Basket was US$ 44.59 per bbl on Monday

New Delhi, May 3 (IBNS) The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as published on Tuesday by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 44.59 per barrel (bbl) on Monday. This was higher than the price of US$ 43.86 per bbl published on Thursday.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs. 2958.23 per bbl on Mondaycompared to Rs. 2965.99 per bbl on Friday. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 66.34 per US$ on Monday against Rs 66.52 per US$ on Friday.

According to PPAC, since Brent, Oman & Dubai prices were not available due to holiday on Monday, the price of Indian Basket Crude oil could not be derived. Therefore, price of Indian basket as of Friday has been considered.
