Exavalu opens new Kolkata IT centre, plans to double India workforce in a year
Kolkata/IBNS: US-headquartered global engineering and technology consulting firm Exavalu on Wednesday announced the launch of its new IT facility in Salt Lake Sector V, strengthening its global delivery capabilities while unveiling plans to double its India workforce over the next year.
The new centre was inaugurated by MLA Tarunjyoti Tiwari and visionary leader Sayantan Basu, in the presence of dignitaries from the Government of West Bengal, industry and academia.
Exavalu said the expanded Kolkata facility would serve as its delivery and operations headquarters in India, supporting clients across the United States, Canada and other international markets. Exavalu Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is the wholly owned Indian subsidiary of US-based Exavalu Inc.
"The new, expanded facility in Kolkata marks a significant milestone in Exavalu's continued growth in India. As the company's delivery and operations headquarters in India, the larger campus will further strengthen our ability to deliver digital transformation solutions to clients across the United States, Canada and other global markets spanning insurance, financial services, life sciences and non-profit organisations," said Anup Das, Chief of Strategy, Global Delivery & Operations, Exavalu India.
The company currently operates delivery centres in Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad, supported by a remote workforce across India.

The Kolkata centre will focus on building capabilities in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data and analytics, enterprise integration, quality engineering, consulting and insurance technologies, strengthening Exavalu's services for insurers and other regulated industries globally.
