Celent rates Infosys Finacle as a leader among Digital Banking Solutions

Bangalore, Aug 17 (IBNS) Infosys Finacle, part of EdgeVerve Systems, on Wednesday announced that it has been rated as a leading solution in the Celent report titled ‘Ubiquitous Digital for Channel Banking: Global Digital Platforms Solutions Vendors, 2016.’

The Finacle suite of digital banking solutions was recognized as a leader from among 10 digital banking solutions.

Infosys Finacle also won the ‘XCelent’ award for both ‘Advanced Technology’ and ‘Breadth of Functionality’ in the ABCD analysis by Celent. Celent’s ABCD analysis evaluates digital banking vendors on 24 criteria across the areas of ‘Advanced Technology’, ‘Breadth of Functionality’, ‘Customer Base’ and ‘Depth of Service’.

Celent mentions in the report that ‘Infosys showed a strong commitment to componentization and features that promoted flexibility and openness, such as open APIs, software development kits (SDKs), and BPM tools.’

According to Stephen Greer, Analyst, Celent, the Finacle platform is a comprehensive set of functionality built on the robust Finacle Omnichannel Hub. He further mentions that this digital channel offering is very much in line with where Celent sees the market going, and is positioned well for the future.
