Blur Star to invest Rs 35 crore in first year of water purifier business
Mumbai, Apr 12 (IBNS) Blue Star Ltd, in its reply to the clarification sought by the National Stock Exchange regarding the company's foray into the water purifier business, said on Tuesday that it proposes to invest in the first year, an amount of Rs 35 crores in its water purifier business.
The company said the amount would be incurred on advertising, brand building, product development and marketing of the business.
On Apr 6, Blue Star had announced that that it is planning to enter the water purifier business later in 2016, in keeping with its aggressive growth plans to expand its presence in related new product categories.
The Exchange, on Apr 7, asked the company to clarify about the estimated amount to be invested.
