Ashok Leyland's April sales volume up 21 per cent
Chennai, May 2 (IBNS) Ashok Leyland, flagship of the Hinduja Group, and the second largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in India said on Monday, that its overall sales volume increased by 21 per cent in April 2016 compared to April 2015.
In April 2016, the company sold 10,180 units compared to 8435 units sold a year ago.
In the medium and heavy commercial vehicles segment, the company sold 7871 units, up 20 per cent from a year ago.
In the light commercial vehicle segment, the company reported sales growth of 22 per cent, up from 1886 units in April 2015 to 2309 units in April 2016.
