Apple CEO Tim Cook travel to Hyderabad and Bengaluru on Thursday
Mumbai, May 19 (IBNS) On his first visit to India as Apple CEO, Tim Cook will be travelling to Hyderabad and Bengaluru on Thursday and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, according to media reports.
Having arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday midnight, Cook met with people from many walks of life on Wednesday.
He met Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry, Vodafone India CEO Sunil Sood, TCS CEO N Chandrasekaran and ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochar.
Cook met and his team also met with the senior management of Reliance Jio Infocomm on Wednesday.
On Friday, Cook is scheduled to meet Bharti Group chairman Sunil Mittal, according to media reports.
On Wednesday evening, Tim Cook was hosted by actor Shah Rukh Khan at a private dinner at his home, Mannat, in the presence of Bollywood superstars and celebrities, including Adi and Parmeshwar Godrej, Amitabh Bacchan and Aishwarya Rai, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, media reported.
Tweeted Shah Rukh Khan, "Thk u all for coming & making @tim_cook & his wonderful team feel the warmth & love of India.Mr.Cook u r a rockstar!".
