Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd. inaugurates model tea garden

Kolkata, Oct 9 (IBNS) Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd. - which has 15 tea gardens in West Bengal and Assam - Friday inaugurated its model tea garden and tea lounge at Eco Park, through videoconferencing with the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The tea lounge has three areas - AC, non-AC, and tent.
Said  Sunil Munshi, Director-Personnel and head of the tea division, "The tea garden, made on 1 acre of land with a Rs. 1.1 crore joint investment by Andrew Yule and HIDCO - if successful, will be implemented on a macro scale in Bengal and neighbouring states."
 

40 trucks of soil have been brought in for the project from Dooars.
