TVS Motor company posts 3% sales growth in February 2019

Hosur, Mar 2 (IBNS): Automobile major TVS Motor Company on Saturday said it has registered a growth of 3% with sales increasing from 290,673 units in February 2018 to 299,353 units in the month of February 2019.

Two-Wheeler

Total two-wheelers registered a growth of 2% with sales increasing from 280,942 units in February 2018 to 285,611 units in February 2019. Domestic two-wheeler registered sales of 231,582 units in February 2019 as against 230,353 units in February 2018.

Motorcycle sales grew by 8% with sales increasing from 113,296 units in February 2018 to 122,551 units in February 2019. Scooter sales of the Company registered 86,935 units in February 2019 as against 93,573 units in February 2018.

Exports

The Company's total exports grew by 14% with sales increasing from 58,564 units registered in the month of February 2018 to 66,570 units in February 2019. Two-wheeler exports grew by 7% with sales increasing from 50,589 units in February 2018 to 54,029 units in February 2019.

Three-Wheeler

Three-wheeler of the Company grew by 41% with sales increasing from 9,731 units in February 2018 to 13,742 units registered in February 2019.
