TVS Motor Company posts 37% sales growth in February 2018

Kolkata / Hosur, Mar 1 (IBNS): TVS Motor Company on Thursday said it has registered a sales growth of 37% increasing from 211,470 units in February 2017 to 290,673 units in the month of February 2018.

Two-Wheeler

Total two-wheelers registered growth of 36.2% with sales increasing from 206,247 units in February 2017 to 280,942 units in February 2018.  Domestic two-wheelers recorded growth of 33.5% with sales increasing from 172,611 units in February 2017 to 230,353 units in February 2018.

Scooter sales of the Company grew by 35.6% from 69,020 units in February 2017 to 93,573 units in February 2018.  Motorcycles sales grew by 92.0% with sales increasing from 58,994 units in February 2017 to 113,296 units in February 2018.

Exports

The Company's total exports grew by 53.2% from 38,215 units registered in the month of February 2017 to 58,564 units in February 2018.  Two-wheeler exports grew by 50.4% increasing from 33,636 units in February 2017 to 50,589 units in February 2018.

Three-Wheeler

Three-wheeler of the Company grew by 86.3% increasing from 5,223 units in February 2017 to 9,731 units registered in February 2018.
