Cinépolis India won ‘Best Marketing Campaign of the Year’ award at Making of Developed India awards 2017

New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS): Cinépolis, India’s 1st international and World’s 4th largest movie theatre circuit has bagged the ‘Best Marketing Campaign of the Year’ award at the Making of Developed India awards 2017.

The Making of Developed India awards are an initiative designed to recognize and reward the companies who embrace and innovate best practices across various domains.

The award which is also endorsed by Asian Confederation of Businesses is yet another milestone achieved by Cinépolis and reaffirms the company’s commitment towards its India growth story.

The award was presented to Cinépolis India at an exclusive ceremony held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on Feb 18.

Cinépolis received the award for its annual signature consumer outreach property ‘National Popcorn day’ which was celebrated on Jan 19 along with its on-screen execution through the innovative advertisement commercial around popcorn.

The National Popcorn Day is celebrated by Cinépolis India, every year on Jan 19, to showcase their love of Cinema and celebrate this unique occasion with their patrons.

The advertisement campaign which was run prior to movies’ screening was well received with more than 2.5 million views on-screen in cinemas and substantially increased the consumption of popcorn.

Cinépolis India has established a strong connect with its Indian consumers by engaging with the customers through unique innovative and creative outreach activations. The company is consistently setting benchmarks of pioneering innovation, across the Indian exhibition.
