ICICI Bank organises coin exchange mela at Panaji

Panaji, Aug 9 (IBNS): ICICI Bank Ltd recently organised a coin exchange mela at its branch premises in Panaji's Sindur Business Centre, Swami Vivekanand Road.

It was held under the aegis of the Reserve Bank of India.

Shri Jaikish, General Manager and Officer-in-Charge, RBI, Foreign Exchange Department inaugurated the event.         

The coin mela at Panaji saw participation from over 80 retailers including chemists, restaurant owners, stationery & general store owners along with Goa Urban Co-op Bank Ltd and Union Bank Ltd.

They exchanged coins worth Rs. 8 lakh in the denomination of Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1.
