India Blooms News Service | | 26 May 2014, 01:01 pm
Bangalore, May 26 (IBNS): Global technology services company Mindtree on Monday announced the results of the postal ballot for issuance of bonus shares, power to borrow and related resolutions.

The company confirmed that all the resolutions were approved by shareholders with an overwhelming majority.

Pursuant to this, the record date to determine the shareholders who are eligible to receive the bonus shares has been fixed as Jun 4.

For shareholders, whose shares are held in dematerialized form, the bonus shares will be credited to their account on or before Jun 9 and such shares can be traded on or before Jun 14, MIndtree noted.

For shareholders who hold their shares in physical form, share certificates would be sent to them in due course, within the applicable timelines, the company said.

Earlier, the Board of Directors at their meeting held on Apr 16 recommended an increase in the Authorised Share Capital, issuance of bonus shares, power to borrow
and power to mortgage assets.

Pursuant to this, the company further sought approval of shareholders for the above resolutions.

Mindtree said that the voting process is complete and the scrutinizer appointed for this purpose has given his report with the final results.

The company also confirmed that all the resolutions have been passed with an overwhelming majority.
