Usha International partners for Mumbai Indians both in IPL season 8, 9
Delhi, Mar 25 (IBNS): Usha International, a household consumer durable company, on Wednesday announced its association with the Mumbai Indians team as their official partners for the 8th and the 9th season of the Indian Premier League.
The new age appliances from the company, like Halogen Oven, slow juicers, on the go blenders, air coolers with ionizers and many other appliances also represent Usha’s commitment to promote a fun, active and healthy lifestyle.
As a part of the collaboration, the Usha logo will be seen on the leading side of the caps and helmets of the players. Usha shall collaborate with Mumbai Indians to create exclusive marketing campaigns and is also entitled to have multiple players for consumer engagement.
Commenting on the development, Komal Mehra, Events Head, Usha International said, “This association is in continuation of Usha’s long-term commitment towards promoting sports and developing a sporting ecosystem in the country. Usha strives to instil a healthier lifestyle among consumers through the innovative product portfolio. We believe that IPL is a huge platform which allows us to reach out to a large number of cricket crazy fans.”
Usha has been actively involved in uplifting grass-root level sports talent in India. In the last four years, the company has been instrumental in popularizing the sport Ultimate Frisbee in India.
For over 25 years, Usha has supported the Mawana Marathon and the Ladies, Amateur and Junior golf. In the inaugural season of Indian Super League Usha was seen as the principal sponsor of the FC Goa team.
