Prices of cooking gas cylinders slashed

New Delhi/UNI: The oil marketing companies on Saturday slashed prices of cooking gas cylinders about Rs 92 per cylinder.

The reduced prices are effective from today.

According to a price notification of Indian Oil Corporation, now a 19 kg Indane commercial cylinder will cost Rs 2028 in Delhi, Rs 2132 in Kolkata, Rs 1980 in Mumbai and Rs 2192.50 in Chennai.

However, there was no revision in the rates of 14.2 kg gas cylinders and they remained the same.

Last month, prices of domestic cooking gas were increased by Rs 50 per cylinder and commercial gas by Rs 350 per cylinder.
