Fincare Small Finance Bank opens first branch in Kolkata, promises to add two more branches soon

Kolkata: Private sector lender Fincare Small Finance Bank on Tuesday entered East India by opening its first branch in Kolkata.

The bank will open two more branches in the upcoming months.

Rajeev Yadav, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, told IBNS: "We are opening our first branch in Kolkata today."

"We will open two more branches in the next month or two," he said.

He said the bank has a total business of about Rs.15,000 crores.

Yadav said the Kolkata unit is the 1124th branch of the bank in the entire nation.

"We promise to provide cutting age technology benefits related to banking to our customers," he said.

"Our banking ranking is one of the better rated and we are also a pioneer in mobile banking," he said.

He said the bank also provides customer service through video banking.

Speaking on the Kolkata branch, he further said: "The Bank aims to offer solutions that are convenience-oriented, keeping in mind the banking needs of the target segments."

"We aim to offer the full suite of banking services to customers across urban and rural markets. The branch in Kolkata shall offer high-interest savings account, current account with Sweep in – Sweep out and QR-code facility, loans against gold, among other products," he said.
