RBI RBI hikes repo rate by 50 basis points
New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday announced the decision to hike repo rate by 50 basis points to 4.90 percent.
At present the Repo Rate is 4.40 percent.
The central bank had hiked Repo Rate by 40 basis point last month.

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said: "The MPC voted unanimously to increase the policy repo rate by 50 bps to 4.90 percent."
