Indian Rupee Indian Rupee closes at 77.56 against USD
Mumbai: The Rupee on Friday rose marginally by one paisa to close at 77.56 against the USD on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
A minor fluctuation was seen during the day, as the local unit slipped 6 paise at 77.63 in opening trade, and finished at 77.56, improving by one paisa as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee improved owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong equity market.
The Rupee unit registered days high and low at 77.54 and 77.66 respectively against the US Dollar, dealer added.
