Indian Rupee falls 7 paise against USD
Mumbai: The Rupee on Tuesday slipped seven paise to close at 77.58 against the USD on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The local unit declined seven paise at 77.58 and closed at the opening level.
The Rupee was seen weak because of a strong dollar against other world currencies amid a weak equity market.
The Rupee registered the day's high and low at 77.55 and 77.62 respectively against the dollar, the dealers added.
