Petrol rate crosses Rs 107 per litre in Mumbai

New Delhi/UNI: Petrol prices in Mumbai mounted to 107.54/ litre, an all-time high on Thursday, while diesel was retailing at Rs 97.45/lire as the fuel prices witnessed another hike after a two-day pause.

This has been the 40th hike since May 4, 2021.

In Mumbai, petrol and diesel costs were increased by 35 and 15 paise respectively.

Petrol prices in the national capital were up by 34 paise and were sold at Rs 101.54/litre, while diesel price saw a 15 paise rise to cost Rs 89.87/litre.

In Kolkata, petrol and diesel rates touched Rs 102.23/ litre and Rs 94.39/litre respectively.

While petrol price was hiked by 35 paise to cost Rs 102.23/litre in Chennai, diesel was being sold at Rs 94.39/litre after a 15 paise hike.

Petrol-diesel prices are reviewed daily and changes are implemented, if any, from 0600 hrs every day.
