IndianRupee Indian Rupee improves by 3 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday rose marginally by three paise to 74.81against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that moved up by 11 paise to74.73 in opening trade, erased its gain but managed to end positive at 74.81, up by three paise only ascompared to its previous close.
The Rupee improved because of weak Dollar against other world currencies amid negative equity market, dealers said.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.85 and 74.70 respectively, he added.
