Road mishap in Afghanistan kills 3, injures over 50

Kabul, Jan 3 (IBNS): At least three people were killed as a passenger bus collided with a cargo truck in Delaram district of southwestern Nimroz province of Afghanistan on Tuesday, media reports said.

The incident left 58 others injured.

The town administrative chief Najibullah Hayat told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident occurred when a 303 model passenger bus collided with a cargo truck at around 3pm.

The injured people included women and children.

Ghulam Mohammad Omari, the provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The passenger bus en route to Nimroz province from Kabul first hit a motorcycle and then rammed into a parked truck.”
