Balochistan National Party Mengal (BNP-M) leader Agha Hassan Baloch has announced a series of protests against the atrocities committed against people of the Pakistani region.

The first of his series of protests will be held on October 30 when a province-wide shutter-down strike will be observed.

The party will next observe a wheel-jam strike on national highways on Nov 2.

Speaking at a press conference, Agha Hassan condemned recent terrorism-related FIRs filed against BNP leaders, including Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Akhtar Hussain Langove, Ahmed Nawaz Baloch and others in Islamabad, reported The Express Tribune.

He said BNP's protest would be non-violent.
