Maryam Nawaz has emerged as the biggest crowd puller in Pakistan: Author Yousuf Nazar

Islamabad:  Pakistani author Yousuf Nazar on Friday said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has emerged as the biggest crowd-puller in recent months.

"Maryam Nawaz has emerged as the biggest crowd puller in Pakistan in the recent months," the author tweeted.

He also retweeted a small video that was shared by Maryam where a large crowd could be seen cheering for her in Gilgit-Baltistan's Skardu area.

During the rally in Skardu, Maryam had slammed Pakistan PM Imran Khan and called him 'fake'.

"The fake prime minister [Imran Khan] announced to make GB a province. You may be a fake premier but you are still a premier. You don't realise how people are struggling due to inflation," Maryam was quoted as saying by The News International.

Blaming the incumbent government for the sugar and wheat crisis, Maryam recalled the premier's promise of 10 million jobs. "Has any youth in Skardu found employment? Did he fulfill his promise to provide housing?"

Addressing PM Imran, Maryam was quoted as saying by The News International: "you promised "tabdeeli" [change] in nine days. Your promises are fake."

She urged the people of Skardu to send the "lying premier" home. "He is about to go. The last push will be given by the people of GB."
