Afghanistan: Taliban attack kills 11 ANA soldiers

Kabul, June 7 (IBNS): At least 11 Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed by Taliban militants in the Deh Rawood district of central Uruzgan province of Afghanistan on Monday, media reports said on Tuesday.

Several other soldiers have been taken as hostage by the militant group.

 

The casualties happened on Monday night when the militants launched a coordinated attack on an ANA base in Sokhti area, a former public representative told Pajhwok Afghan News.
