Kabul: A blast in Kabul city of Afghanistan left one person dead and another wounded, media reports said on Sunday.

The incident happened around 7:40 pm local time in Qala-e-Mir Abbas in PD9 of Kabul city as security forces searched a suspected house. During the search “a home-made mine exploded that killed one and injured another,” according to Kabul police as quoted by Khaama Press.

“The police's preliminary investigations show that these people were busy making mines,” police said, adding that the victims are believed to be those making the explosive devices.
