Afghanistan Foreign Minister meets Managing Director of Asia and Pacific Division of European External Action Service

Kabul, Apr 26 (IBNS): Afghanistan's Foreign Minister, Salahuddin Rabbani on Tuesday met Managing Director of Asia and Pacific Division of European External Action Service Gunnar Wiegand.

Both sides talked about the Brussels Conference on Afghanistan and its sideline meetings and also discussed the preparations of both sides for this conference, read an Afghanistan government statement.

Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Managing Director of Asia and Pacific Division of European External Action Service emphasized the need for accelerating the preparations of both sides for the Brussels Conference on Afghanistan and its sideline meetings and agreed to increase coordination and exchange of information in this regard.

During this meeting, Foreign Minister said that the Afghan Government would go to the Brussels Conference with the achievements expected by the international community.
