Afghanistan: Car bomb blast in Kabul leaves 7 people killed

Kabul/IBNS: A car bomb blast in Afghanistan's Kabul city left at least seven people killed and 10 others injured, media reports said.

The blast occurred in PD15 area in the city.

The blast occurred around 7:25 a.m. local time in the Qasaba area in PD15 of Kabul city, Nasrat Rahimi, an Interior Ministry spokesperson told Tolo News.

The Ministry of Interior also reported that the target of the Kabul blast was a vehicle owned by foreign security company GardaWorld, and four security guards working for the company were wounded, reported the news portal.

Although ministry officials have confirmed the death of one child in the incident, a source told TOLOnews that five children were killed.

Several vehicles in the area were damaged in the blast.

No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
