Afghanistan: 162 nabbed in Kabul over various crimes

Kabul, Nov 30 (IBNS): The Afghanistan government has nabbed at least 162 people in Kabul in connection with various crimes, local Khaama Press reported.

The agency quoted Ministry of Interior as saying that four people were arrested in two separate armed robbery cases, while 27 others in 15 different small robbery cases.

Four people were nabbed as murder suspects in eight cases and 23 others for smuggling and selling illicit drugs.

Seven were arrested over land grabbing cases, two over rape charges, three for looting and seven others for involvement in violent incidents.

A couple of people each were arrested over kidnapping and attempted murder charges.
