20 Taliban killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, Oct 28 (IBNS): In two separate airstrikes and a clash at least 20 Talibans were killed in Afghanistan's Zabul province, media reports said.

"Fourteen Taliban were killed in overnight airstrike in the Bata Khelo area of Nawbahar district on Friday evening, Gen. Sidiqullah Saber, commander of the 205th Maiwand Military Corps second Brigade was quoted as saying Pajhwok Afghan News.

Four Taliban were killed in separate drone strikes, reports said.

According to reports, the strikes took place in Nawrak area.

Two more insurgents were killed and three other injured in a clash in the Arghandab district. The clash erupted when militants attacked security forces post., reported Pajhwok Afghan News.
