Zimbabwe team arrives in Pakistan

Lahore, May 19 (IBNS): The Zimbabwe team has arrived in Pakistan to play series against the national side here.

Speaking at a press conference, Ozias Bvute, head of the delegation and a former Zimbabwe Cricket chief executive, said his team arrived in Pakistan to support the country.

He said: “We are here to support Pakistan.”

Zimbabwe's captain Elton Chigumbura said he was pleased to arrive in Pakistan.

Shaharyar Mohammad Khan, Chairman PCB has approved the 15-member squad, picked up by the PCB selection committee with Haroon Rashid as its chief for the two T20Is against Zimbabwe. Both T20Is against Zimbabwe will be played here at the Gaddafi Stadium on May 22 and 24, 2015.

Mohammad Sami and  Shoaib Malik have been recalled in the squad.
