World T20: India take knee before India-Pakistan clash

| @indiablooms | Oct 25, 2021, at 03:45 am

Dubai/UNI: In support of Black Lives Matter movement, the Indian players took a knee, moments before their high-octane T20 World Cup 2021 Super 12 clash against Pakistan here on Sunday.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma took the knee, while the remaining team members did the same outside the boundary line.

However, the Pakistanis did not take to the knees, instead kept their hands on their chest.

Yesterday, the English players along with their West Indies counterparts took a knee.

England had taken a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement in their home series against West Indies last year.
