Mumbai: The world observed International Daughters' Day on Sunday and cricket maestro Sachin Tedulkar cherished the occasion by sharing a throwback image of himself with daughter Sara.

In the image, Tendulkar could be seen enjoying his time with baby Sara.

The cricketer's message for his daughter was equally heartwarming.

"When you are around time flies like a 6 too.. which you have enacted in this pic!," he tweeted.

"It was such a joy to see you crawl out of my lap and grow into a beautiful young lady. I am so proud of you and lucky to have a daughter like you. #InternationalDaughtersDay," Tendulkar said.
