Visakhapatnam ODI: Shai Hope powers Windies to tie match against India

Visakhapatnam, Oct 24 (IBNS): Wicket-keeper batsman Shai Hope's last-ball boundary helped Windies to tie high-scoring second One Day International (ODI) match here on Wednesday, media reports said.

Chasing a target of 322, Hope and Shimron Hetmyer kept Windies in the fight throughout.

Hope remained unbeaten at 123 while Hetmyer was dismissed at 94.

Kuldeep Yadav. who replaced pace bowler Khaleel Ahmed in the match, clinched three wickets for 67 runs in 10 overs.

India earlier scored 321/6 in 50 overs.

It was again skipper Virat Kohli who fueled India's batting in the match, playing an unbeaten knock of 157 runs off 129 balls.

Ambati Rayudu, who scored 73, gave apt support to his skipper in the middle overs.

As the men-in-blue had won the first match in Guwahati, India are leading the five-match ODI series 1-0.
