Virat Kohli likely to miss first ODI against England due to groin injury

India's star batsman Virat Kohli is likely to miss the first One Day International (ODI) match against England owing to his groin injury which he suffered during the final T20I match Sunday, media reports said.

After winning the T20I series 2-1, India will take on England in the first ODI at The Oval in London Tuesday.

Kohli is likely to be available in the second and third ODI matches.

The former Indian skipper, who is going through a dull form, has been rested for the ODI series against West Indies beginning Jul 22.

Not just Kohli, skipper Rohit Sharma,Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya have also been rested for the particular series.
