US Open: Novak Djokovic reaches quarter-finals, to meet John Millman

New York, Sept 4 (IBNS): Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic defeated Joao Sousa to reach the quarter-finals of the ongoing US Open tournament here.

The Serbian defeated his opponent 6-3 6-4 6-3 on his path to reach the quarter-finals.

He will now meet Roger Federer's conqueror John Millman in the next round.

Tennis superstar Roger Federer has suffered a shock defeat in the US Open after being beaten by Australian John Millman in a five-set game.

The round of 16 game lasted for three hours 35 minutes.

The 37-yer-old Swiss legend lost to his Aussie counterpart 3-6 7-5 7-6 (9-7) 7-6 (7-3).

This is the first time that Federer has lost to someone ranked outside of the top 50 at the US Open.
