The Indian eves put up a strong show against Argentina.

India will now play to win the bronze medal.

Gurjit Kaur provided India with an early break by converting a penalty corner.

Argentina bounced back in the second quarter as captain Noel Barrionuevo scored the equaliser to make the scoreboard 1-1.

She once again delivered by scoring another goal in the third quarter to put her team ahead of India and slowly end India's hope to reach the final.

India will now face the mighty Great Britain in the bronze medal match.
