T20 World Cup: West Indies post 142/7 against Bangladesh

Sharjah: Riding on Nicholas Pooran's 40 runs knock, West Indies posted 142 runs for the loss of seven wickets against Bangladesh here on Sunday.

Pooran smashed four sixes and a boundary in his 22-ball knock.

Roston Chase added 39 runs at the top of the order.

Skipper Kieron Pollard (14*) runs and Jason Holder (15*) contributed some crucial runs at the end.

Mahedi Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman and Shoriful Islam picked up two wickets each for Bangladesh.

Both the teams are trying to register their first victory in the tournament.
